About the role
- Speech Language Pathologist joining a diverse SLP team at Halton Healthcare. Delivering in-patient and out-patient care to improve patient outcomes in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality in-patient and out-patient care
- Work with diverse adult populations in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with SLP team
- Conduct assessments and treatments
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with the college of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario
- 2 - 3 years of acute hospital experience
- VFSS experience required
- FEES experience an asset
- Committed to supporting student learners
- 1-2 years experience in assessment & treatment of dysphagia
- Excellent Organization, Time Management and Communication Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interprofessional teams
- Flexible to meet the changing demands of mixed caseloads
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record
