About the role
- Senior Analytics Engineer building Fulfillment IQ’s Workbench data and analytics engine. Automating messy supply chain data processing into product-ready datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy code that ingests, cleans, reconciles, and standardizes large, heterogeneous customer supply chain datasets
- Build generic automation that handles differing customer data formats
- Transform raw data into standardized order, inventory, and shipment datasets for Workbench
- Produce metrics, segmentations, and analyses for industrial engineers and the product team
- Build data visualization demos and prototypes for analysis concepts
- Provide input on production UI development without owning the production UI
- Hand transformation and analytics code to engineering in production-ready form
- Own the data logic underlying the product
- Collaborate with domain experts, Product, Engineering, Operations Research, and the Workbench team
- Report to the Chief Scientist
- Use AI coding tools while reviewing, debugging, and defending all generated code
Requirements
- Fluency in Python and tabular analytics at scale, proven on messy, real-world data
- Ability to load an unfamiliar file, inspect it, reshape it, reconcile it, and compute what is asked, including live
- Experience with tabular data tools like SQL, Polars or Arrow
- Habit of using AI coding tools while genuinely owning the output
- Ability to read code, catch errors, and fix them
- Business sense to identify repeated patterns and turn them into clear engineering asks
- Communication skills to present findings effectively
- Visualization judgment to determine what to show and how
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent proof you can do the work
- Supply chain, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or order-management data experience is a bonus
- Experience building analytics capabilities that shipped into a product is a bonus
- Experience working closely with a product or engineering team is a bonus
