About the role
- Auto Body Technician repairing structural and non-structural collision damage for Assured Automotive. Disassembling, welding, repairing, and reassembling vehicles while meeting facility KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Repair damage to vehicle body panels
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
- Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
- Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
- Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
- Use frame equipment
- Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity
- Contribute directly to KPIs (Sales/CP/EBITDA/BHPD/NPS)
- Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance
- Work with all team members to achieve the repair facility’s KPIs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
- Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
- You are able to lift up to 50 Lbs
- You have your own toolbox
- Valid driver’s license required
- Red Seal or 310B is preferred
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
