About the role

Responsibilities
- Participate in decisions regarding features and architecture
- Develop new features for the elia platform, from front end to back end
- Ensure code quality and maintainability
- Conduct code reviews
- Deploy the application to production, monitor it, and maintain it
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Propose continuous improvements to enhance team efficiency and the developer experience
- Participate in process-related decisions and contribute to their implementation
- Collaborate closely with the CTO, developers, Product Owner, and Product Designer
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web application development
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science, or training in web development (AEC, DEC)
- Excellent knowledge of React, TypeScript, and Kotlin/Java
- Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and CSS (Tailwind)
- Strong command of development best practices and code quality principles (SOLID, TDD, etc.)
- Ability to work in a cloud environment using AWS
- Technical curiosity and a desire to learn and improve
- Ability to synthesize complex information and explain it in clear, accessible terms
- Comfortable working with AI
- Daily use of Claude or an equivalent tool to rethink and improve the way you work
- Ability to propose alternative ways of doing things
