Responsibilities

  • Do you enjoy tackling challenges and contributing to high-impact projects? This role places you at the heart of the organization’s strategic technology operations. Your mission: ensure the robustness, reliability and availability of applications and databases—prioritizing production—and participate in the design, implementation, maintenance, support, obsolescence management and continuous improvement of the technical solutions that enable business teams to meet their objectives.
  • Contribute to architectural design, system specifications, and estimation of costs and timelines for various implementations.
  • Provide recommendations for solutions and/or changes to improve system performance, stability, functionality or operational processes.
  • Help implement new products and integrate the latest concepts to remain aligned with industry standards.
  • Participate in defining the test strategy and perform product testing to ensure product quality is maintained.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement solutions using industry best practices to ensure usability, scalability and maintainability, while enforcing security best practices.
  • Perform daily administration tasks, including performance tuning and ensuring system availability.
  • Provide technical support and assist with user incident resolution.
  • Monitor system health and proactively investigate or resolve potential issues that could affect business operations.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, including system upgrades and environment patching, to ensure solutions remain secure, compliant, up to date and stable.
  • Provide out-of-hours support for necessary activities (e.g., system maintenance) and be available 24/7 for emergency business support.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience in administration and maintenance of applications and databases.
  • Experience deploying and updating applications and databases.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Autonomous and solution-oriented.
