About the role

Senior Director of DevOps leading cloud and DevOps strategy for a remote innovative technology company. Responsible for technical delivery and innovation across global product lines.

Responsibilities

You will lead the organization's cloud and DevOps strategy.
You will promote innovation and the adoption of technologies aligned with the company's objectives.
You will instill in software developers, DevOps engineers, and product management specialists a culture of outcome-focused, data-driven product planning and delivery.
You will foster the growth of the directors and senior managers reporting to you.
You will direct resources toward high-value outcomes and manage organizational design.

At least 12 years of experience in technical roles, including a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership positions.
Hands-on experience leading the delivery of self-service developer services and integrated developer platforms.
Experience working with product management and a product-minded approach.
Skills in procurement, cost management, and cost forecasting related to cloud expenditures and directly managed software maintenance.
Experience designing and deploying modern FinOps practices within SaaS product development teams and internal systems.
Proven experience delivering complex projects and systems through a globally distributed workforce.
