Regional Business Manager leading GSK’s vaccine specialty business and Key Account Managers. Driving strategy, sales performance, and healthcare partnerships across Western Canada.
Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing regional team of Key Account Managers
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets
Recruit, train, and retain talent
Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
Enable the team to deliver value to customers through relationships and science-based solutions
Ensure KAMs communicate marketing strategies and align with brand goals
Build partnerships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and institutions
Collaborate with medical, marketing, government affairs, and other cross-functional teams
Provide field insights that inform brand strategies and tactical execution
Ensure activities comply with internal compliance and regulatory standards
Report directly to the National Sales Director, Specialty Care
Lead activities across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and western Ontario
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or equivalent combination of education, training and relevant pharmaceutical sales experience
Minimum 4+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
Minimum 2 years of recent Canadian experience in Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology
At least 2+ years in a sales leadership role
2+ years of marketing experience as a brand manager or leader
Experience working cross-functionally with medical, government affairs, or strategic roles
Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
Excellent knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory frameworks
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory and attend national/regional meetings
Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA
Preferred: Direct sales and leadership experience in Vaccines and/or Specialty pharmaceuticals
Preferred: Deep understanding of Canadian healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders
Preferred: Strong presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
