About the role

  • Senior Director of AI Governance role at Gartner focusing on AI Governance expertise and client engagement. Delivering actionable insights and leading research initiatives for Data & Analytics Leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality actionable advice through a variety of media.
  • Write provocative and pragmatic research that is clear and actionable.
  • Provide high quality and timely research content peer review.
  • Create and deliver presentations for webinars, onsite engagements, and Gartner conferences.
  • Track vendors, market trends and emerging practices to remain ahead of the curve within these areas, and adjacent spaces (e.g., digital transformation, culture change, and quality practices).
  • Deliver outstanding sales support to retain and grow the Gartner business.
  • Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research, methodology and strategy.
  • Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in the research community.
  • Identify research process improvements or develop new processes that help the team and Research & Advisory provide excellent service delivery.
  • Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members.

Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise, with demonstrated knowledge of AI Governance programs and practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Professional Qualification, or 12+ years direct experience in a field related to AI Governance.
  • An understanding of the AI Governance market: Who are the key vendors in this space? What capabilities are must have? Where is the market heading?
  • Hands-on experience in establishing or being involved in an AI Governance initiative.
  • Deep understanding of the relationship and intersection between Data Governance and AI Governance.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges.
  • Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts concisely and simply.
  • Ability to confidently speak to C-Level Executives and provide actionable insights or explain concepts targeted and relatable to their role.
  • Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team.
  • Learning agile and adept with navigating highly matrixed environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
