About the role
- AI Strategy Practice Leader working on data valorization and AI strategy for Desjardins Group. Collaborating with various sectors to align AI opportunities with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Help business sectors create, prioritize and adopt AI opportunities, aligned with business priorities.
- Help sectors develop their AI strategies and execute the corresponding roadmaps.
- Act as the main AI point of contact between the business sector and the Office of Desjardins Group’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer.
- Collect market business intelligence regarding AI for the business sectors to identify analytical opportunities.
- Conduct AI opportunity identification activities for the business sectors to identify analytical opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (data science, engineering or business administration with a specialization in AI)
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Experience in managing cross-sector projects, leading teams and communicating with senior management
- Experience working collaboratively and building strong partnerships with various sectors of the organization
- Experience providing support as part of a data- and analytics-driven organizational transformation
- Past experience in consulting
- Knowledge of French is required
- Expertise in identifying and exploiting AI opportunities related to tech trends
- Knowledge of analytics tools (machine learning, visualization) and cloud-based data platforms
- Knowledge of the banking, wealth management and/or insurance industries
