About the role

Accounting Technical Program Manager serving enterprise customers on Guesty’s hospitality accounting platform. Optimizing accounting workflows, month-end processes, product adoption, and roadmap feedback.

Responsibilities

Serve as the dedicated Subject Matter Expert for the Guesty Accounting Module
Guide Enterprise and Strategic customers through complex accounting workflows, owner statements, and end-of-month financial processes
Provide dedicated support during month-end closing cycles, including reconciliations, payouts, and statement generation
Analyze enterprise accounting setups to drive product adoption, streamline financial workflows, and improve retention
Partner with Customer Success Managers on strategic accounts to align technical and accounting excellence with client retention and account health goals
Lead complex consultations to translate property management accounting requirements into optimized Guesty Accounting Module configurations
Synthesize customer challenges, accounting feedback, and market requirements for Product and Engineering roadmap enhancements
Act as the primary escalation point for complex accounting, ledger, and reconciliation discrepancies
Lead internal enablement and training on feature releases, property management accounting best practices, and operational standards
Analyze account cohorts and product needs using data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advocate for enterprise financial requirements

Minimum of 4 years of technical experience within the SaaS software industry or in a technology-driven environment
Deep hands-on experience with trust accounting, property management accounting, or financial SaaS platforms
Demonstrated experience handling enterprise/strategic accounts during high-pressure financial cycles, such as month-end close
API literacy
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and creative thinking
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Deep functional knowledge of property management accounting, trust accounting, owner payout statements, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
Solid background navigating complex SaaS environments and mastering intricate technical use cases
Ability to analyze customer configurations and workflows to provide optimal, scalable solutions
Experience collaborating with Product organizations to provide feature feedback and advocate for roadmap releases
Ability to identify adoption gaps, improve customer setup, and collect product feedback
Ability to identify trends across account cohorts and use data to track evolving product needs
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tools, systems, and automations
Familiarity with the short-term rental market, OTA landscape, and property management software ecosystem is a bonus

Full-time employment
Remote work for eligible candidates based in Canada or the United States
Hybrid schedule for candidates located in the New York area, with work from the New York office two days per week
