About the role
- Technical Consultant supporting utility clients and integrating CIS Infinity billing software. Troubleshooting issues, delivering training, and managing implementation projects remotely across Canada and the US.
Responsibilities
- Assess and translate clients’ requests into their underlying needs
- Find and implement creative, optimal solutions within the applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot product stability inquiries and product or technical issues by phone or through the ticketing system
- Liaise with third-party vendors, end users, and clients’ IT teams
- Document configuration, enhancement, and testing notes for projects through the ticketing system
- Collaborate with team members on various projects
- Provide client training or assistance remotely or occasionally onsite
- Maintain current knowledge and awareness of applications and related technologies
- Integrate functionalities in the CIS Infinity system
- Implement enhancements and integrate web solutions with CIS Infinity
- Independently manage multiple projects
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience in customer support/business analyst
- Ability to review and analyze VFP, C#, ASP.NET, and Powershell
- Ability to create and modify complex SQL scripts
- Ability to interpret requirements and recommend solutions that best address clients' needs
- Ability to travel up to 25% in North America
- College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
- Experience with Remote Desktop Services/RemoteApp is a plus
- Experience with remote access tools and techniques such as Webex, remote desktop, and VPN is a plus
- Oral or written communication in French is a plus
- Customer Service Training or Certification is a plus
- Experience in IT Support, Utility Billing, or other financial applications is a plus
- Experience with Crystal Reports is an asset
- Understanding of cloud solutions and concepts is a plus
