Resuscitation program specialist strengthening Heart & Stroke’s Alberta-Saskatchewan training network. Coordinating program quality, stakeholder relationships, data insights, and emergency cardiovascular training delivery.
Responsibilities
Support the Resuscitation Program Manager in building and maintaining relationships with regional partners, instructors, instructor trainers, training institutions, and professional organizations.
Identify business development opportunities with new and existing regional partners.
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned external stakeholders.
Steward high-value and high-performing instructors and organizations to support engagement, advocacy, and retention.
Reinforce adherence to Heart & Stroke resuscitation program standards, policies, and guidelines.
Provide guidance on program requirements, quality expectations, and approved practices.
Receive, assess, document, investigate, and support resolution of program quality issues, complaints, QA infractions, and escalations.
Use digital and AI-enabled tools to streamline administration, documentation, and quality oversight.
Provide network knowledge, data-informed insights, and recommendations supporting growth, retention, and market positioning.
Use Salesforce, reports, and analytics tools to monitor network activity, performance trends, and engagement.
Coordinate regional implementation of resuscitation programs, initiatives, and updates across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Represent Heart & Stroke at virtual and in-person regional network engagements.
Identify gaps in program delivery standards and provide guidance.
Support program administration, education, awareness, continuous improvement, special events, and volunteer coordination.
Participate in cross-functional working groups, meetings, and initiatives.
Act as a liaison between external stakeholders and internal teams, communicating feedback, issues, and opportunities.
Requirements
Degree, diploma, or certificate program in business, health science, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
3+ years of experience in project/program management, relationship management, customer service, or business development/corporate sales
Access to a car
Currently residing in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships

Initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to self-direct with minimal supervision

Heart & Stroke Instructor certification and/or other agency instructional experience an asset
Knowledge of provincial healthcare systems and resuscitation training agencies an asset

Knowledge of basic medical terminology and life support equipment an asset
