About the role
- Saw Operator at Hydro producing cut aluminum profiles. Ensuring quality and safety while operating industrial machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate saw equipment to safely cut aluminum profiles according to customer specifications
- Read production orders and verify dimensions using measuring tools
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
- Stack, package, and prepare finished material for the next stage of production or shipment
- Follow all health, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards while working as part of the production team
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience operating industrial machinery
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to safely lift at least 100 lbs with a partner on a repetitive basis
- Flexibility to work on all shifts as per operational needs (day, evening and overnight)
- Experience operating saws or other industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers and squares)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable team player with a strong focus on safety
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
