About the role

  • Project Portfolio Manager guiding iA Financial Group’s insurance and wealth-management initiative portfolios. Supporting strategic roadmaps, benefits realization, governance, budgets, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Support managers and teams in preparing business cases, prioritizing initiatives, and evolving strategic roadmaps
  • Orchestrate initiative portfolio management throughout the lifecycle to align with organizational objectives
  • Monitor project execution and contribute to achievement of expected business benefits
  • Provide visibility into portfolio performance and deliver strategic decision-support reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sectors to address prioritization challenges, identify risks, and implement solutions
  • Ensure quality, integrity, and compliance of portfolio management data and processes
  • Improve portfolio management practices through knowledge sharing and development of new tools
  • Support financial planning, budget monitoring, audit, and governance processes
  • Represent the department in forums and governance bodies

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in portfolio management
  • In-depth understanding of project and portfolio management
  • Knowledge of key financial principles
  • Solid understanding of Lean-Agile practices
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Knowledge of the financial services and insurance industry is considered an asset
  • Experience in an advisory role supporting senior leadership is considered an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in both French and English is required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate fact-based recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
  • Influential leadership and stakeholder partnership skills
