About the role
- Quality Engineer overseeing quality assurance in electronics manufacturing. Developing control plans and monitoring KPI performance in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Review customer drawings and specifications, and develop internal processes to meet customer's needs
- Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement effective actions on time
- Oversee product & material quality from new product introduction (NPI) to mass production
- Develop quality control plan for each customer account
- Monitor and improve Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for internal and external quality performance
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and quality management systems including ISO 9001
- Experience analyzing data to gain knowledge of processes
- Experience using structured methods of investigating and solving problems (such as 8D, Six Sigma)
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues
