About the role
- Account Manager retaining clients and growing revenue for McLean & Company, an HR advisory firm delivering research, tools, training, and consulting. Managing accounts, leads, referrals, and HR-service opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage accounts through regular service calls to ensure client alignment and drive usage of the McLean membership
- Work marketing leads and conduct warm and cold calls to book onsite sales presentations with prospective clients
- Support cross-functional communication and collaborate with Research and Product Teams
- Grow revenue by identifying referrals through personal, professional, and client networks
- Pursue sales opportunities with former clients who move to new organizations
- Identify client needs aligned with Workshop, Executive Services, Consulting, and Training offerings
- Solicit feedback and testimonials from current accounts
- Record client details and account notes in the CRM system
- Follow internal reporting processes
Requirements
- Post-secondary education, minimum College Diploma
- Either 2 years of B2B sales plus a University Degree, or 5 years of B2B sales plus a College Diploma
- Ability to engage and manage ongoing client needs
- Ability to conduct meaningful client conversations focused on strategy, alignment, and operational excellence
- Ability to identify opportunities within accounts and grow the account base
- Ability to track clients who move companies and maintain records, proposals, documentation, and schedules
- Ability to manage multiple calls in a day
- General understanding of business and business language
- Active listening ability to understand client needs
