About the role

  • Product Manager specializing in telematics managing full product lifecycle at Intact. Shaping product roadmap, analyzing customer insights, and aligning stakeholders to deliver digital solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Discover customer needs, collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements, and prioritize them based on value.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources (customer/sales/support feedback, mobile app analytics, etc.) to extract user insights.
  • Articulate the “why” and the “what” of each initiative, identify expected impacts, and communicate them clearly to internal and external stakeholders (vendors, partners).
  • Contribute to defining the product vision and strategy, in collaboration with the product strategist and leadership.
  • Build the roadmap and communicate it to internal stakeholders while managing cross-team dependencies.
  • Work with go-to-market teams (operations, marketing, etc.) to plan successful launches.
  • Prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer value and business value for Intact.
  • Define and describe epic objectives, establish milestones, start and end dates.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to business analysts, allocate tasks, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Guide the development team to deliver quality technology features that improve key outcomes for customers and Intact.
  • Work closely with business analysts to break initiatives into increments to learn quickly and iterate.
  • Manage technology developments from external vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master and technical leaders to optimize development velocity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst.
  • Strong mastery of Agile product development practices.
  • Proven experience with complex digital products involving multiple internal and external stakeholders (vendors, partners).
  • High autonomy and excellent interpersonal skills to rally stakeholders around a common initiative and find compromises.
  • Excellent ability to coordinate multiple initiatives in parallel (multitasking).
  • Strong analytical mindset and business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in insurance or telematics (an asset).
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
