Responsibilities
Join our security team to design and build next‑generation security products that reshape how secure software is developed and deployed.
Implement features and enhancements across backend and/or frontend components.
Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews.
Build and consume RESTful APIs, handle data modeling and database queries.
Debug issues, fix defects, and improve performance and reliability.
Collaborate on requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver iteratively in agile.
Create and update technical documentation and usage guides.
Assist in setting up straightforward CI/CD automation steps (build, test, deploy).
Work closely with product, architect, and design to ensure functionality meets user needs.
Understanding of SAST/SCA and other secure coding practices.
Requirements
Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of professional software development or relevant experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
Experience with a common backend framework e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Express.js, NestJS, Django/Flask.
Basic frontend experience with modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Next.js
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integrations.
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, ability to write queries and understand schema design.
Strong knowledge of secure coding concepts.
Comfortable with Git workflows and working in an agile environment.
Exposure to AI/ML or LLM concepts is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a learning mindset.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containers (Docker).
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, Jest) and basic CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Familiarity with basic application security and performance best practices.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
