Responsibilities
- Contribute to achieving corporate and regional objectives by measuring team performance and ensuring the quality of claims handling, compliance with standards and procedures, and productivity
- Manage team activities by organizing, planning, and controlling the optimal use of human, financial, and material resources in accordance with the budget
- Foster teamwork and guide the team’s technical training
- Participate in improving operational processes
- Make decisions for the team regarding claims file handling and indemnity payments in accordance with company standards
- Promote the brand image and business principles among partners
- Conduct audits of active files throughout the year
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a claims adjuster (home claims experience is an asset)
- Experience managing a team of claims adjusters
- Hold a claims adjuster license or certificate
- In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial insurance, as well as liability insurance
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of computer systems
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment
