- Medical interpreter providing accurate Cantonese-English interpretation for patients and healthcare providers. Supporting simultaneous and consecutive interpreting in remote medical and legal settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely interpretation between patients and healthcare providers
- Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
- Ensure proper use of medical terminology
- Facilitate clear and culturally appropriate communication in medical settings
- Facilitate critical communication in legal and medical scenarios
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of professional interpretation experience
- Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
- Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments
- High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
- Professional, HIPAA compliant Setup
- Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
- At least 10Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
- Fluent in Cantonese and English
- Interpretation experience must be added to the resume to be considered
