About the role

  • Laboratory Data Analyst managing lab data workflows and applying Python expertise for clinical studies. Collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality data delivery in the Canadian healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Python programming activities to support study requirements and departmental projects
  • Create and review data management documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Execute laboratory data management tasks, including data transfers, quality checks, and file validation
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables
  • Provide backup support within the LDM team by covering other analysts as needed
  • Train and mentor junior staff on data management processes and tools
  • Document and archive all evidence related to data transmissions in accordance with company policies
  • Handle and resolve requests from internal and external clients promptly and professionally

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in data management and Python programming
  • Knowledge of clinical research, laboratory data processes, and regulatory standards (FDA, ICH, ISO, HL7, GLP)
  • Proficiency with Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications
  • Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
