About the role
- Online English teacher delivering prepared small-group writing and analysis lessons to students aged 6–16. Teaching remotely through ClassIn on scheduled weekends and Friday evenings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-energy online English classes in a 1-to-8 format
- Review prepared materials and participate in practice sessions to ensure quality
- Complete scheduled classes without absences or rescheduling
- Teach two 90-minute online lessons per week using the ClassIn platform
- Facilitate multiple-choice activities, student-submitted written work, and direct oral interaction
- Prepare for and record demos without students to demonstrate readiness
Requirements
- Able to guarantee preparation for and attendance at each scheduled lesson
- Fun personality, talkative
- Logical, able to explain concepts clearly and simply
- Able to watch others teach and emulate them
- Neat and professional appearance
- Positive attitude
- Willing to change to meet standards
- Perfect oral grammar, precise diction, and clear enunciation
- Fast, reliable internet (~20 Mbps up and down)
- Modern, reliable computer (~10,000+ on CPU benchmark)
- Resume required
- 1–2 minute introduction video required
- Must submit all requested application information
- Available for the fixed Spring 2027 schedule: Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays
