About the role

  • Facilities Manager overseeing daily operations, budgets, vendors, and technician teams across JLL’s industrial client sites. Ensuring safety, compliance, maintenance, and service performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless daily facility operations across multiple critical industrial client sites
  • Support development and management of capital and expense budgets
  • Monitor financial variance reporting to support client goals
  • Manage daily work orders, prioritize tasks, and communicate with clients and required parties
  • Verify completed work meets satisfactory standards
  • Assist with annual building management plans
  • Conduct quarterly onsite inspections across multiple locations and initiate corrective work orders
  • Meet vendors onsite to review project scopes and verify completed work
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve challenges and vendor performance issues
  • Oversee technician operations, work priorities, and procurement strategies
  • Manage preventive maintenance work orders and scheduled maintenance
  • Partner with Managed Engineering Services to deliver work order performance
  • Escalate safety and risk issues and coordinate remediation with EH&S and account management
  • Review and approve technician timecards and procurement card purchases
  • Ensure compliance with work order and receipt documentation procedures in CMMS

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5–7 years of facilities management experience with demonstrated ability to manage operations across multiple sites in industrial or commercial environments
  • Proven budget management experience, including development of capital and expense budgets, variance analysis, and cost control
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and proficiency in work order management, tracking, and reporting
  • Strong vendor management skills, including negotiating service levels and holding contractors accountable
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and building codes applicable to industrial facilities
  • Leadership experience overseeing technician teams, including performance management and development
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients, vendors, technicians, and cross-functional teams
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to multiple facility locations
  • Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, or similar credentials preferred
  • Experience in oil and gas, energy, or other industrial sectors preferred
  • Knowledge of procurement card systems and purchasing approvals preferred
  • Experience supporting KPIs and SLAs in client-facing facility management roles preferred
  • Project management experience supporting capital improvement projects preferred
