About the role

  • Workday EDM Support Consultant delivering configuration, troubleshooting, and advisory support for Kainos customers. Managing SLAs, releases, escalations, and knowledge sharing across remote support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and advisory EDM support to customers post-deployment
  • Deliver services within agreed SLAs and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests
  • Identify root causes and resolve issues effectively
  • Support recurring releases and deployments
  • Help customers adopt new features and updates
  • Collaborate across internal support teams and with product, engineering, and delivery teams
  • Develop the knowledge base by documenting complex troubleshooting steps and solutions
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards
  • Support Service Managers with customer escalations
  • Manage customer interactions, system updates, and issue resolution end-to-end
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and evolution of the EDM support offering

Requirements

  • Good customer focus and some experience in a customer-facing role or consulting environment
  • Willingness to understand customer needs and build relationships
  • Ability to identify when to escalate issues appropriately
  • Basic understanding of Workday products, including HCM, Financials, Payroll, or specialist capabilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues independently
  • Clear and effective communication with customers and colleagues, including in a remote working situation
  • Ability to work within remote teams, alongside customers, and independently without supervision
  • Ability to apply relevant standards and procedures while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Awareness of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements
  • Commitment to information security
  • Workday certification in HCM, Payroll, or Financials (desirable)
  • Awareness of ITIL and ISO-20000 principles and best practices (desirable)
  • Experience with JIRA Service Desk (desirable)
  • Experience in a support environment or post-deployment services (desirable)
