Responsibilities
Lead the team responsible for developing the LastPass browser extension and shaping the future of LastPass web clients
Drive initiatives to continuously improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications
Ensure the team is aligned with broader product and business goals
Accountable for team performance and delivery, including prioritizing work, managing technical risk, and ensuring projects are executed effectively and on time
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement—both technical and organizational
Foster clear, transparent communication with cross‑functional stakeholders
Requirements
Experience leading and developing engineering teams, with a strong people‑first mindset
Proven success delivering high‑volume, customer‑facing products and acting on user feedback
Solid technical background, with preferred experience in web and browser extension development
Strong understanding of agile engineering practices and the ability to maintain delivery flow
Quality‑driven and customer‑obsessed approach to building software
Ownership mindset with accountability that extends beyond team boundaries
Experience with operational excellence, including observability, monitoring, and incident response
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Experience leading teams across multiple time zones and cultures

Hands‑on experience in software development, with exposure to modern web technologies (great, but not required)
