National Service Technician maintaining and repairing Liebherr mining equipment in Fort McKay. Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, engine, and drivetrain systems.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, engines, gearbox/drive train, etc. to resolve moderate to complex problems
Perform new and used machinery preparation, scheduled maintenance, repair or overhaul, including component replacement, commissioning and adjustment of mechanical/hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment
Perform warranty upgrades
Recondition and repair equipment components and systems as assigned
Perform pre-delivery inspections and new and used equipment preparation
Service Liebherr machinery, including fluid checks, sample pulling, oil and filter checks, changing lubricants, replacing filters, and greasing machine lube points
Ensure components, material and/or equipment are inspected and corrected to specifications and timely delivery programs are achieved
Complete final verifications specified in work instructions, scope of work, verbal communication and specifications
Submit accurate and timely service reports and technical documents
Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas in accordance with company policy
Support shop repairs/work as requested
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange, repair and warranty-related activities
Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
Ability to effectively communicate detailed and complex information clearly and concisely
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and unsupervised for extended periods
Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to travel nationally and internationally
Valid driver’s license
14 * 14 shift
High school diploma (or the equivalent)
Journeyman Heavy Duty certificate
