About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist managing full-cycle recruitment for Liebherr Canada's construction, mining, crane and aerospace equipment business. Building talent pipelines and partnering with hiring managers nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Support Liebherr Canada's national business growth through talent acquisition
  • Manage the full life cycle of recruitment at Liebherr Canada
  • Use job boards, social media and professional networks to identify potential candidates
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines, with heavy focus on Heavy Equipment Technicians
  • Participate in external career fairs and events
  • Review resumes and applications against bona fide job requirements
  • Conduct initial in-person or video meetings to assess qualifications, skills and culture fit
  • Coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs
  • Guide and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process and administer candidate assessments
  • Extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages
  • Oversee transition to the HR Onboarding Specialist
  • Use MySuccess as the primary applicant tracking system
  • Stay updated on talent acquisition trends and best practices
  • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter, preferably in the Heavy Equipment industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in full cycle recruitment in-house in a corporate setting
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated expertise with ATSs, reposting and data analysis
  • Discretion with confidential, private and sensitive information and data
  • MS Office, HRIS and ATS software proficiency
  • HR Generalist experience considered an asset
