About the role
- Freelance medical post-editor refining English clinical documents into Canadian French for IQVIA’s life-science solutions. Ensuring accurate, readable, compliant translations for global healthcare communication.
Responsibilities
- Translate, post-edit, and review clinical trial documentation
- Ensure documents adhere to the target language’s medical and ethical standards
- Enhance readability, accuracy, and coherence of scientific and medical materials without altering the original meaning
- Collaborate with translation teams and provide constructive feedback
- Suggest necessary corrections
- Stay updated with medical terminology and advancements
- Ensure documents comply with applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in clinical translation/post-editing
- Native fluency in French (Canada)
- Fluency in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent written communication skills
- Deep understanding of clinical terminology and concepts
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
