About the role

  • Interim Regional Finance Manager leading accounting, tax, audits, and financial strategy across US, Canada, UK, and Ireland for a localization company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional finance function across the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland
  • Take responsibility for regional financial accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Review monthly accounts and supervise accounting operations with the Accounting Shared Service Center
  • Provide performance analysis and insights with the FP&A team
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and declarations
  • Lead annual regional financial audits and support the Group audit process
  • Maintain and improve internal controls aligned with Group policies and procedures
  • Oversee cash collection activities and accounts receivable performance
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to regional leadership teams
  • Align regional financial strategies with Group objectives
  • Support the Group CFO with financial data, analysis, reporting, and financial risk mitigation
  • Participate in group-wide projects and ad hoc assignments
  • Identify opportunities for growth, cost efficiency, and process optimization
  • Collaborate with local operational teams and the Accounting Shared Service Center
  • Represent finance with auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions
  • Provide financial insights to local leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Assess and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting
  • Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and high ethical standards
  • Uphold company cultural values while supporting team development and leadership growth

Requirements

  • More than 8 years of professional experience
  • More than 8 years of experience in a similar position in a medium/large private or multinational company
  • Experience with regional or multi-country responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • English proficiency (mandatory)
  • Local language proficiency
  • Strong people leadership ability
  • Accounting processes knowledge
  • Financial reporting experience
  • Audit support experience
  • High level of business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Change management experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • SAP FI proficiency ideally
