About the role

Security Technical Architect designing and implementing security architectures for Long View's Security Practice. Collaborating with teams to enhance business continuity and risk management.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing secure architectures focused on business continuity, risk management, and IT resilience
Provide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
As a subject matter expert, you will deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
Implement industry leading security solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy business and technical consulting skills
Validate clients' existing architecture, identify gaps and assist the various business and technical teams with gathering their business use cases
Work as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
Team up with other senior consultants and colleagues across Long View to maintain alignment and keep projects on track

8+ years of hands-on experience in IT security, spanning systems, networks, servers, and cloud
A strong foundation in security architecture and practical implementation
Real-world expertise with Microsoft security tools, including:
Microsoft Sentinel
Defender for Identity, Endpoint, and Office 365
MCAS, PIM, Conditional Access, etc.
Solid experience with:
Network and endpoint protection
Digital forensics and investigations
Cloud security architecture (Hub & Spoke, subscription design)
Security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS)
A good understanding of Linux environments, and a working knowledge of scripting and automation
Effective communication skills — with the ability to translate technical detail into real-world value for clients
