About the role
- Full-Stack Developer building TypeScript, React, and Node.js features for MaintainX’s AI-powered maintenance platform. Owning scalable product or platform systems from planning through production.
Responsibilities
- Ship features end to end, from planning through production
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape the team's roadmap
- Own a feature area or system's long-term reliability and performance
- Maintain areas of the codebase and address potential failures
- Review code and mentor other developers
- Improve tooling, testing, and delivery practices
- Join a team of 5 to 10 people
- Take on-call rotation as part of the role
- Own a feature area or system outright within the first 6 months
- Contribute to products supporting factories, fleets, hospitals, and campuses
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products
- Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development
- Track record of writing maintainable, testable code
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfort making progress before specifications are fully settled
- Day-to-day use of AI tools in the development workflow
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
