• Provide instruction and artistic support to Junior and Senior Performing Arts classes for ages 7–12 at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton
• Ensure a safe, well-supervised, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Provide seasonal program outlines and facilitate lectures or demonstrations at each class
• Adapt daily programming to participant needs and provide independent-work time and one-on-one assistance

• Assist with program implementation with a focus on quality customer experiences
• Assist with preparation and delivery of lesson plans
• Provide a safe, well-supervised, welcoming and positive learning environment
• Prepare materials and program space according to lesson plans
• Set up and take down required equipment
• Provide guidance and oversight of volunteers
• Establish positive relationships and clear communication with staff and participants
• Maintain a safe and clean facility and ensure proper equipment usage

• Perform a wide range of facility-based maintenance duties
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning duties within the facility and some outdoor areas
• Organize, maintain, and clean bathrooms, dressing rooms, meeting rooms, janitorial rooms, and storage rooms
• Follow assigned task lists
• Provide customer service and assist in program facilitation
• Respond to customer inquiries according to established procedures and the approved decision-making framework
• Maintain ongoing communication with program, event, and customer service staff
• Provide setups, cleanups, and conversions based on facility programming requirements

Facility Attendant – Part-Time

Facility Attendant maintaining Town of Milton’s multi-use municipal facilities. Providing customer service, program support, cleaning, maintenance, and event setup assistance.

• Provide day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs at an assigned multi-use facility
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning duties within the facility and some outdoor areas
• Promote safe working practices, ensure legislative compliance, and address areas of risk
• Flood ice surfaces, operate ice edger, and perform other ice maintenance tasks
• Monitor and maintain pool filtration and chemistry in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Open and close facilities as required
• Operate facility systems safely and efficiently, including emergency decision-making
• Provide customer service and assist with program support and public service delivery
• Review and monitor facility bookings and rentals and proactively address customer concerns
• Communicate with Facility Supervisors, Facility Operators, program staff, event staff, and customer service staff
• Set up, clean up, and convert spaces according to facility programming requirements
• Support Facility Attendants by directing shift duties and communicating policies and procedures
• Complete risk assessment logs and perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments
• Perform minor building-related repairs
