About the role

  • Data Engineer leading ERP-to-MindBridge ETL and financial data pipelines. Supporting clients and product teams for MindBridge’s audit analytics platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as the data expert during implementation
  • Identify data requirements and create optimal data migration processes
  • Advise clients on data structures, quality, reuse, standardization, and best practices
  • Lead the end-to-end ETL process from customer ERP systems into MindBridge
  • Develop understanding of ERP financial data models to automate and manage complex ETL jobs
  • Extract, format, and shape financial data
  • Troubleshoot data issues and provide workarounds and permanent fixes
  • Develop and maintain internal- and external-facing templates and documentation, including data requirements, processes, flow diagrams, and mappings
  • Design data pipelines for internal analytics, management reports, and dashboards
  • Serve as the data ingestion product expert and stay current on new features
  • Provide customer-needs feedback and influence product decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer success, support, product management, development, and data science teams
  • Contribute data expertise to roadmap discussions and perform software/release testing as required
  • Provide technical and product support, project management, and business analytics

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience using SQL and Python to build and shape structured/semi-structured datasets
  • 5+ years of experience working on projects, with advanced experience in ETL, data lakes, data analysis and profiling, mapping, modeling, and analytics
  • 5+ years of experience providing customer service, consulting, or support in a software/technology company
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, or SAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VBA and macros, Python, SQL, API requests, and project management software
  • Computer Science, Accounting, or Business degree or equivalent experience required
  • Previous accounting/audit experience considered a strong asset
  • Fulfill requirements necessary to obtain and clear a full background check
  • Willingness to support occasional client requirements outside normal business hours
  • May be required to travel to the US, UK, and EU
