About the role
- IT Information Security Lead at Mirego, responsible for technology and information security management. Overseeing compliance and IT strategies while maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate the execution plan for Mirego's IT strategy.
- Analyze and lead IT projects, from needs assessment to implementation.
- Introduce or approve improvements to IT and information security operating procedures.
- Approve, deploy, and optimize tools within the internal technology ecosystem.
- Act as the lead and point of reference for the IT specialist responsible for Level 1 support.
- Maintain SOC 2 compliance (documentation, processes, oversight of controls).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for projects with specific IT requirements.
- Assess information security risks and implement corrective measures.
- Keep abreast of technological developments to maintain a modern and resilient environment.
- Use AI to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
- Experience in IT project analysis: solution evaluation, impact analysis, planning, and change management.
- Experience in information security: access management, security policies, incident management, and security awareness training.
- Familiarity with data protection obligations (notably Quebec's Law 25).
- Autonomy and proactivity: ability to prioritize, make decisions, and drive initiatives forward without constant supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills while making technical issues clear.
- Experience with macOS environments and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001. Participation in audits is an asset.
