About the role
- QA Analyst supporting Mitacs' digital modernization through testing strategies and automation. Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure product excellence in a client-centric organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing across web, backend, and integrated systems
- Assist in maintaining automated test scripts
- Conduct various testing types including functional, system, regression
- Participate in building test automation in CI/CD pipelines
- Design test cases with complete requirement coverage
- Conduct API testing and write basic SQL queries
- Utilize BDD or data-driven testing methodologies
- champion quality throughout the SDLC
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience
- 2+ years in test automation
- Proven experience testing cloud-based and enterprise systems
- Experience with automation frameworks/tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments
- Knowledge of written and spoken English required
- Knowledge of written and spoken French is an asset
