About the role
- Prompt Engineer focusing on Python development and LLM optimization for financial services organization. Collaborating with ML teams and influencing AI performance in high-stakes environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize high-impact prompts across evolving LLM models (OpenAI + others)
- Build and maintain Python-based libraries supporting AI/ML solutions
- Partner with SMEs and business leaders to translate real-world problems into AI-driven solutions
- Continuously refine prompt performance through benchmarking, testing, and iteration
- Monitor and improve model performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to enterprise-grade AI systems focused on resiliency, observability, and performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Python development (production-level)
- Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering + LLMs (OpenAI or similar)
- Strong understanding of: Object-oriented design
- Scalable system architecture
- Observability, performance, and resiliency
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
