About the role
- Boutique Assistant Manager leading sales, customer service, and team operations at Nespresso’s Devonshire Mall coffee boutique. Managing KPIs, staffing, inventory, and retail performance.
Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and service-level targets with the boutique team
- Maximize guest frequency, sales, and new-customer acquisition
- Maximize capsule, accessories, and machine sales
- Evaluate service quality and implement customer-service action plans using mystery-shopper results
- Support company programs by motivating and instructing the team
- Recruit, hire, and motivate team members to provide exceptional customer service
- Delegate responsibilities with the Boutique Manager to ensure smooth operations
- Review KPIs and support action plans to achieve goals
- Implement SOPs and guidelines for compliance, risk management, and health and safety
- Manage schedules to meet boutique operations and customer-service goals
- Plan and prioritize annual sales and wage-cost targets
- Manage staffing, monthly reports, cash, and inventory using operational tools
- Perform stock spot checks and assist with inventories and deliveries
Requirements
- 4–5 years of high-volume retail management experience
- Luxury retail experience is an asset
- Ability to prioritize and plan multiple priorities
- Strong team-building skills with a history of effective team coaching and development
- Effective time management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Passion for coffee and sustainability
- Food or coffee industry experience is an asset
- Ability to stand for an entire working day
- Ability to repeatedly lift a maximum of 23 kg
