About the role

QA Specialist supporting Nuclear Quality Management System at NPX. Collaborating on compliance activities and audits to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

Support the execution and continuous improvement of our Nuclear Quality Management System (NQMS).
Execute day-to-day compliance activities, draft document revisions, and track conformance to standards.
Plan, schedule, and support internal and external audits end-to-end by preparing the documents, coordinating stakeholders, and following findings through to resolution.
Identify and document quality issues, recommend practical solutions, and ensure any nonconforming work is carefully reviewed and approved before moving forward.
Monitor quality performance against targets, pull together the data, and share clear, useful insights with the QA Director and leadership.
Support and maintain NQMS systems, keeping records up to date, and help users navigate the tools.
Deliver and coordinate QA training, keep materials current, and track completion.
Review and log client feedback to assess quality issues and feed learnings into corrective actions.
Help create an environment where people feel comfortable raising concerns and flagging risks early.
Leverage technology solutions to further improve support.
Help expand our Nuclear QA as a service offering and deliver effective results.

You are familiar with CSA N299, CSA N286, and the Canadian nuclear regulatory framework.
Experience or training in auditing, lead auditing, project management, root cause analysis, and technical writing, are strong assets.
You have supported audits, helped close findings, and improved processes—whether in nuclear or other QA environments.
You are a clear, thoughtful communicator with strong technical writing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to present findings to senior leadership, suppliers, or customers.
You take ownership, speak up when something does not look right, and actively support human performance (HU) behaviours and a strong nuclear safety culture.
