About the role

  • SDET developing and maintaining automated test software for electronic products in wireless systems. Collaborating with R&D and production teams in a technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and document automated test software, test benches and production test procedures (Python)
  • Translate requirements into test scenarios and functional tests for edge cases
  • Integrate unit and functional tests into test equipment
  • Implement and validate functional and performance tests as well as measurement routines
  • Control instruments via SCPI when required
  • Maintain and improve test systems, scripts and production documentation
  • Troubleshoot test-related issues
  • Participate in engineering design reviews, gate reviews and production transfer meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • 4 to 6+ years of experience in test automation or test development
  • Strong proficiency in Python for automation and instrument control (all development is performed in Python)
  • Hands-on experience in PCB/electronic board design and/or PCB/electronic board debugging (schematic reading, familiarity with layout, board-level troubleshooting and measurements)
  • Familiarity with electronic boards and test instruments
  • Experience with SQL/MySQL
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
  • Good technical English (written and verbal)
