About the role
- Consulting Senior Data Architect specializing in Microsoft Fabric solutions for digital products. Engage in hands-on delivery, architecture, and governance for data engineering in a remote capacity.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Fabric artifacts (pipelines, lakehouses, eventstream/real-time patterns).
- Define data architecture standards and implement governance and security guardrails.
- Create repeatable reference implementations for common digital product scenarios.
- Produce and maintain the target-state architecture for Fabric-based data platform capabilities.
- Establish architectural boundaries and integration guidance for shared datasets.
- Define and enforce data modeling standards appropriate to Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse patterns.
Requirements
- 10+ years in data architecture/data engineering roles, including platform-scale design.
- Proven Microsoft Fabric production implementations.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Data Engineering, Data Factory (pipelines), and Real-time analytics / Event Streams.
- Strong architecture capability across mixed data types: transactional, telemetry/events, documents, geospatial, time series.
- Experience implementing and governing data modeling standards and data governance.
- Strong DevOps fluency: CI/CD patterns and operational delivery.
