About the role

  • Associate Director leading talent acquisition strategy, Workday optimization, and recruitment teams for Critical Mass’s digital agency growth. Hybrid role based in Calgary or Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global talent acquisition strategies aligned with global goals
  • Design scalable recruitment workflows and optimize recruitment operations
  • Source talent proactively across North America and develop repeatable sourcing frameworks
  • Lead Workday Recruiting optimization, data integrity, and team enablement documentation
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and provide talent market insights
  • Coach and lead a team of 5 Global TA Specialists
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire
  • Use data-driven insights to improve recruitment effectiveness and inform strategy
  • Build Critical Mass's reputation as an employer of choice in the digital agency space

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in high-growth or digital agency environments
  • 3+ years of experience leading and scaling recruitment teams across geographies
  • Deep understanding of the NAM talent market, including sourcing channels, employment regulations (US & Canada), and cultural nuances
  • Workday Recruiting expertise required, including process design and reporting
  • Proven process design and operational improvement mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for building teams, developing talent, and creating efficient processes
