About the role
- Front-End Engineer building responsive interfaces for Ontinue’s AI-powered MXDR cybersecurity platform. Integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and developing reusable components for secure security dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable front-end components for the ION MXDR platform
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and create seamless user experiences
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure end-to-end functionality
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
- Maintain and improve front-end build systems, tooling, and deployment pipelines
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address browser-specific performance issues
- Stay current with front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure robust and secure code
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (React.js preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications
- Proficiency in front-end tools such as Babel, Vite, and Next.js
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
- Proficiency with automated unit tests
- Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft security tools and platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel and Defender is a plus
- Experience with C# preferred
- Experience with Azure preferred
- Experience working in cybersecurity or SaaS environments preferred
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, and ReactFlow preferred
- Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines preferred
