About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to provide relevant feedback
  • Create detailed, clear, and well-structured test plans
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
  • Identify, document, and track bugs
  • Perform regression testing following bug fixes
  • Develop and apply test processes for new and existing products
  • Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers) to define prerequisites
  • Monitor and analyze debugging process results
  • Investigate root causes of non-conformities
  • Track and improve quality assurance performance metrics
  • Stay up to date on testing tools and strategies

Requirements

  • Significant experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience in embedded software environments
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and understandable test plans
  • Hands-on experience with black-box and white-box testing
  • Experience in software development
  • Experience testing web applications
  • Experience with automation tools (pytest, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IP protocols
  • Knowledge of video technologies (SDI, ST 2110, H.264, H.265, WebRTC, etc.)
