About the role

  • Intern participating in low-level software development for Linux platforms at OPAL-RT Technologies. Working in a collaborative environment on driver projects and software integration.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of drivers for various hardware boards
  • Collaborate on the integration of low-level software within a Linux environment
  • Investigate and improve system-related components (performance, stability, real-time)
  • Contribute to projects involving embedded architectures, notably ARM
  • Take part in testing, validation, and debugging of software solutions
  • Work collaboratively with other team members on practical tasks
  • Write or improve technical documentation

Requirements

  • Strong interest in low-level development and Linux systems
  • Knowledge of C and/or C++
  • Interest in hardware architectures (e.g., ARM, x86)
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (processes, memory, drivers)
