About the role
- Intern participating in low-level software development for Linux platforms at OPAL-RT Technologies. Working in a collaborative environment on driver projects and software integration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and maintenance of drivers for various hardware boards
- Collaborate on the integration of low-level software within a Linux environment
- Investigate and improve system-related components (performance, stability, real-time)
- Contribute to projects involving embedded architectures, notably ARM
- Take part in testing, validation, and debugging of software solutions
- Work collaboratively with other team members on practical tasks
- Write or improve technical documentation
Requirements
- Strong interest in low-level development and Linux systems
- Knowledge of C and/or C++
- Interest in hardware architectures (e.g., ARM, x86)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (processes, memory, drivers)
