About the role
- Integrated Systems Tester at OPAL-RT Technologies performing unit tests and system integration of new systems. Collaborating within a dynamic team under a flexible schedule in Montreal, Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Execute unit and integration tests on systems to be delivered to customers
- Prepare reports and documentation for customers and internal staff
- Analyze test results and identify anomalies
- Identify and resolve system malfunctions (hardware and/or software)
- Track anomalies from identification through validation
- Responsible for designing functional, technical, and integration test scenarios for systems in production
- Contribute to defining acceptance criteria
- Participate in automating/optimizing test sequences and developing test jigs
- Assist with installation and maintenance of test environments
- Support test technicians in production
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (internship experience is considered)
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- French required
- Reading knowledge of English for technical documentation
