About the role

  • Team Lead managing commercial vehicle inventory, sales compliance, and customer accounts for OPENLANE’s digital wholesale vehicle marketplace. Leading quality assurance and repossession redemption operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales vehicles meet account specifications and enforce strict sales compliance with client SLAs
  • Oversee sales quality assurance, audit service levels, and spot-check team output to meet company and customer standards
  • Keep a real-time eye on service levels and conduct regular meetings to provide feedback
  • Handle internal team sale issues, motivate team members, and help develop or refine ARS business
  • Coordinate the inventory and sale of vehicles while generating and preparing reports from computerized data
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and complete the repossession redemption process
  • Represent vehicles on the block or attend the block with sales representatives on sale day
  • Collaborate with Commercial Account Reps to provide cross-functional backup and perform administrative duties
  • Translate client SLA requirements into daily operational workflows and team tasks
  • Manage real-time service levels, resolve regional bottlenecks, and provide continuous operational backup
  • Track metrics to ensure all performance targets are met
  • Deliver high customer satisfaction, error-free sales audits, and consistent execution on sale days
  • Report to the National Commercial Accounts Manager and collaborate with Commercial Account Reps, internal operations, regional sales teams, and external commercial clients

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of related experience in inventory coordination, account management, or vehicle remarketing
  • Experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Expertise in wholesale vehicle remarketing, commercial accounts, and repossession redemption processes
  • Deep understanding of client SLAs, vehicle inventory workflows, and sales compliance
  • Team leadership, spot-checking output quality, and conducting feedback meetings
  • Workflow optimization, identifying regional sales bottlenecks, and continuous improvement tracking
  • Customer service resolution and cross-functional team coverage management
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Technical fluency in navigating computerized reporting systems, inventory tools, and digital sales platforms
