Responsibilities
Conduct security assessments in constituency offices and MPs’ residences
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend and oversee the installation of security improvements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously across Canada
Travel across Canada to conduct various risk assessments and provide recommendations
Be on site at least three days per week, or more as required
Requirements
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a field related to physical security, security management, or project management, or a diploma from another relevant specialized program with equivalent experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain, at minimum, a Secret-level security clearance
Experience in physical security and knowledge of physical protection methods and practices
Experience in security planning and/or working on capital, refurbishment, and/or medium-to-large scale facility projects
Experience and thorough knowledge of project management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies
Experience working with subject-matter experts in architecture, engineering, security, construction, and procurement
Experience reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical drawings, including site and building plans, to ensure compliance with security requirements
