About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments in constituency offices and MPs’ residences
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend and oversee the installation of security improvements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across Canada
- Travel across Canada to conduct various risk assessments and provide recommendations
- Be on site at least three days per week, or more as required
Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a field related to physical security, security management, or project management, or a diploma from another relevant specialized program with equivalent experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain, at minimum, a Secret-level security clearance
- Experience in physical security and knowledge of physical protection methods and practices
- Experience in security planning and/or working on capital, refurbishment, and/or medium-to-large scale facility projects
- Experience and thorough knowledge of project management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies
- Experience working with subject-matter experts in architecture, engineering, security, construction, and procurement
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical drawings, including site and building plans, to ensure compliance with security requirements
