About the role

Engineering/Technical Student at PCL Construction Management supporting construction projects in Edmonton. Working on-site, monitoring trade scopes and participating in project management activities.

Responsibilities

Report deficiencies by going on various site visits
Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work
Coordinate and update field drawings, specifications, and project schedules
Participate in project meetings and get a chance to be part of something bigger by working closely with seasoned project professionals
Conduct trade contractor quote reviews
Visit some of our impressive projects and job sites while taking progress photos and monitoring deficiency logs
Responsible for performing bid day assignments and overall bid document control
Assistance with on-site problem solving

Strong desire to work in a construction environment
Prior field construction experience will be considered an asset
Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup will be considered an asset
