Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers in the Caribbean Banking Market or Canada
Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient KYC systems for unique requirements
Develop and maintain technology roadmap for KYC initiative
Implement seamless integration between KYC system and other platforms
Oversee the end-to-end development of KYC solutions
Manage technical milestones for timely delivery of projects
Act as the primary technical liaison between stakeholders
Collaborate with QA to implement automated testing frameworks
Oversee integration of CI/CD pipelines
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress
Ensure comprehensive documentation of system architecture and development processes
Contribute to strategic planning for KYC initiative and broader projects
Hire and mentor top talent.
Requirements
University or graduate degree in a technical area of study, with a preference in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering
Programming experience (Java, Angular)
Hands-on experience with full-stack development, including front-end (e.g., Angular) and back-end (e.g., Spring Boot, Java) technologies.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
Expertise in API development, and cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with middleware technologies like Kafka and MQ.
Strong working knowledge of Core Banking systems, Payment’s platforms, and Specialized Business systems.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist for Agile practices (nice-to-have).
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Developer, or equivalent for cloud expertise (nice-to-have).
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or similar for KYC/AML knowledge (nice-to-have).
