About the role

  • Systems Administrator supporting servers, technology solutions, and users across PCL Construction offices and jobsites. Providing troubleshooting, jobsite setup, training, and initiative implementation support.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for handling support cases
  • Perform district jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support
  • Deliver technical training and other knowledge resources
  • Administer and monitor district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation
  • Respond to technology and server issues
  • Log problems and resolutions accurately and promptly in the problem-management database
  • Provide implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline
  • Co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work
  • Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
